2 Levels of Reporting

One of the major benefits of the Campaign Influence Analyzer is that it rolls all the Influence data up to the Campaigns themselves on Campaign Fields for each of MagiRobot’s models, enabling cool analyses like those the Explorer / Projector allows you to do.

You can use the reports on the “Campaign Influence Dashboard” as a basis to create your own campaign reports and dashboards.  Most of those reports are campaign-level reports.

However, you’ll probably also want to do things like see which campaigns perform best for certain segments, verticals, specific types of opportunities, different close date ranges, create dates ranges, etc…

In other words, Opportunity / Account / Contact-specific attributes that are hidden by roll-ups.

In those cases, you will need to report on the Campaign Influence Split records (Camp_Inf__Campaign_Influence_Split__c):

When the application examines each of your opportunities, it will create a Campaign Influence Split record for every model, for every influential Campaign Member / Response.

Clone these installed Campaign Influence Split reports (Save As) as basis for more detailed analysis:

  • Camp Inf: Influence Splits (General)
  • Camp Inf: Influence Splits (First)
  • Camp Inf: Influence Splits (Last)
  • Camp Inf: Influence Splits (Most Influential)
  • Camp Inf: Influence Splits (Closers)

Run a report of Campaign Influence Splits — and you can group or filter by any Opportunity or Account field.  Like Type, Industry, Close Date, Created Date.

Take special note of these reports’ sort on the summarized value, as this reporting feature is key to effective analysis within Salesforce:
